2008 GOLD DIGGER'S OMNIUM p/b LIFETIME BIKES.
Did YOU race in last years Dahlonega GOLD DIGGERS OMNIUM! If so, thank you for participating and we hope you remember how much fun it was. THIS year we have gone above and beyond.... We have totally re-designed the courses. The feedback on pre-rides have been great - EPIC is the most common word used to describe this year's Omnium. Saturday morning we will have the states FIRST ever point to point (Category Mountain Time Trial). KOM jersey’s awarded (onsite) for the winner of each GC Category. You start in Suches and finish at the top of Wolfpen! Standard cycling equipment ONLY - no TT. The first 4 miles are rolling and the last 3 are winding straight up. Saturday afternoon is our new and improved circuit race. The distances are 20 - 30 miles depending upon the race. No major climbs but rest assured you will feel it in the end. Sunday's RR is like NO race you have ever done before. UP - DOWN - FLAT - ROLLING - FALSE FLAT - A WALL - If you can dream about a terrain it is in this race.
